Vital Commands
Your Guard Dog Must Learn
Guard dogs are significant
today and even in the old times. Sheep and livestock owners lose their
own lambs because of the predators around their farms like that of
wolves and bears. With the help of the guard dogs they seek help from,
the dogs to protect their lambs, sheep and chickens from harm. And with
the help of these dogs they have control over losing their animals.
Guard dogs receive a lot of
attention from people because they are working dogs who people benefit
from. The use of dogs for defense against many kinds of danger had been
needed by many not only for farm owners. Guard dogs are very effective
in protecting almost all kinds of animals and also people. Guard dogs
must be properly trained to be successful. Perseverance, discipline, and
patience are needed. Guard dogs are not 100% effective; there is
variation across and within breeds of dogs, which is why there are dogs
that are really for guarding.

In dog training it is not
always you don’t always have to harass the dogs to make them obey you.
One must be friendly to the dogs so that they would feel comfortable
with their trainers. Proper command training must be needed and all
trainers must be guided before training the dogs. A trainer must also be
strong, sharp and easy to work with. An owner can also train their own
dogs at home if they would want to but they also must be guided.
A professional dog trainer
must be hired as soon as possible preferably when the dog is still
young, so that the pup will like the trainer and treat him/her as one of
its friend. When trained early your dog would likely learn a few tricks
shortly.
In training commands, there
is a basic training for early days of workshops for your dog. Before
training them to advance and complex tricks they must first learn the
basics and must be taught how to obey. With these the dogs in training
can follow specific commands of owners and trainer.
In the early age of your
dogs you must practice them everyday. The use of key commands that your
guard dog needs will help them through the training. Some of the
commands are sitting, stand, stay, speak, and hush.

Training at first is
tiring, both for the owner and also the dog. Careful training must be
needed so that the dog would not feel commanded. But too much spoiling
of your dog would not be useful and will not help the dog in training.
Using dog treats, whistles and a collar would tame your dog to be
obedient.
One of the basics that
trainers teach the guard dogs is to sit, stand and stay technique. It is
the easiest command a dog can learn. The dogs easily respond to these
commands because of the treats you also give. With your hand raise the
dog would pay attention to you. With this kind of consistent training
your dog would successfully finish the workshop with flying colors.
